Career
He has been the lead guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies since 1996, and is their longest-standing lead guitarist, surpassing Rocky George, who had been the band for 11 years. He also played with Ugly Kid Joe on their America"s Least Wanted album and was in the Jessica Simpson band for several years. He also played with George Clinton, Tone Loc, Coke advertisements, Poe, Jody Watley and Atlantic Starr.
Also has a new solo band, He recently played a couple of the songs at the San Antonio, Texas show as an encore with Suicidal Tendencies on their 2013 Slam City Tour.
Dean uses VHT, Fender and Marshall amps and plays Fernandes and Education Support Professionals guitars.
