Career
Tiltgen was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 8th round (179th overall) of the 1992 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Born in 1974 in Edmonton, Alberta, Tiltgen played five seasons in the Western Hockey League, before attending the University of Alberta where he played with the Alberta Golden Bears. He turned professional with the 1997-1998 season, suiting up for the Baton Rouge Kingfish of the ECHL. He retired as a player following the 2005-2006 ECHL season which he spent with the Phoenix RoadRunners.
