She ranks #14 worldwide on Direct Selling Live Women of Power Top 30 #44 worldwide on the Direct Selling Live Power 50. In 1999, after 30 years in the restaurant industry, Bixler sought a career change that would allow for a less stressful lifestyle. She started a direct sales party plan business, and earned her previous annual salary of $80,000 in the first 9 months.
A motivational speaker throughout her career, she soon began speaking about her success in the party plan industry.
In 2002, Bixler began to gradually move her focus from home party plan to public speaking and education. Her lectures and workshops focus on entrepreneurship, presentation, and social media.
Bixler was the Direct Selling Women's Alliance 2011 Speaker of the Year. Bixler combines her culinary and public speaking experience for her position as a respected health and wellness educator and wellness educator and weight loss coach.
Bixler hosts the syndicated healthy cooking show "Now We"re Cooking." The show focuses on simple healthy meal preparation.
Bixler is a Certified instructor for ManageFirst nutritional program
