Debra Simon Schaffer, American artist, educator. Certified elementary and high school teacher. Recipient Outstanding Artistic Achievement award Bedford (New York ) Art Show, 1988, Jeffrey Childs Willis Memorial award, 1988, Chaim Gross Gretchen Richardson Freelancer Memorial award for Carving, 1989, Best in Show award St.Marks Art Festival, 1981, awards Armonk Art Show, 1990, 91, 97, 98, 2000, 2004, 2008 1st prize Ridgefield Guild of Artists.


Schaffer, Debra Simon was born on November 22, 1936 in New York City. Daughter of Louis and Fay (Soloway) Simon.
