Bolton formerly anchored Bloomberg Television’s "Money Moves", a show about alternative investments. On January 31, 2014 she left Bloomberg for Fox Business News to host a new business show "Risk & Reward". When Bolton joined Bloomberg in 1999, she reported from the New York Stock Exchange, the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation, and was acclaimed for her field work.
