Career
He played with Borac Čačak, Red Star Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade, Budućnost Podgorica, TAU Cerámica and Pamesa Valencia, Panathinaikos and PAOK, which he joined in September 2008. Tomašević started his great career with Borac Čačak, and he made his first transfer in 1991, to Red Star Belgrade, where he stayed for 4 years, winning 2 Yugoslavian League Championship titles. The big transfer abroad for his career was realized when he signed with TAU Cerámica, where he played the 2001-2002 season, winning the Spanish ACB League and the Spanish King"s Cup in 2002.
In September 2008, he signed a one year contract with PAOK. He was voted the Euroleague Regular Season Most Valuable Player of the Euroleague 2000-2001 season, and he made the All-Euroleague First Team that same year, as well as the All-Euroleague First Team of the Euroleague 2001-2002 season.
He was also the Most Valuable Player of the Yugoslavian League in 1998. He was also named the Eurocup Basketball Finals Most Valuable Player of the 2002-2003 season.
