Den-ichiro Tanaka was a Japanese Nagauta drum player.
Den-ichiro Tanaka was born in 1904 in Nagoya.
He came to Tokyo from Nagoya in his childhood and received personal instructions from Denzaemon Tanaka X. He succeeded to the stage name Den-ichiro Tanaka when he was 18 years old. After becoming an apprentice nagauta drum player of the Imperial Theatre in his 16th year, he performed for 19 years.
