Dengoro Nishida graduated from Chemistry Department of Kyoto University (1918). He entered Furukawa Gomei Kaisha (Unlimited Partnership) and served at its Oi Laboratory. Went to USA (1919) and studied at Postgraduate Department of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Chemistry Department of Michigan University.
After returning home served at Physical and Chemical Research Institute of Furukawa Denki Kogyo Kaisha (Electric Industry Company) and then as superintendent of Osaka Battery Plant of the same company, chief of Research Section of its head office and superintendent of its Electric Wire Plant. Later transferred to Nihon Keikinzoku Kaisha (Japan Light Metals Company) and after successive promotions became its managing director (1944).
Purged from the public profession and resigned the company (1946). Appointed senior managing director of Toa Paint Company (1950) and the same year became its president. Holds additional post of counselor of Furukawa Kogyo Kaisha (Mining Company).
