Career
His father was a well-known harpist and kept the Carpenters" Arms public house in Efail Isaf. He was ordained in 1956 after an earlier career as an Royal Air Force Officer he was Rector of Esperance, Western Australia and then Archdeacon of the Goldfields before elevation to the Episcopate as the 4th Bishop of Kalgoorlie.
