Career
He played for the club from 1928 until 1932, but had to retire due to the onset of total deafness following a football-related accident. Cashmore spent most of his life in Aldenham, Near Watford Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Cashmore died in Watford General Hospital/Peace Memorial Wing on 13 October 1982 after suffering for some time with prostate cancer.
He is also the grandfather of British paranormal investigator and television presenter/host Ian Cashmore.
