Educated Christian Brothers’ School, Carrick-on-Suir and private study in the United States, to which he came at the age of fifteen. Doctor of Laws from Boston College, 1922.
Career
Special editorial writer Boston Herald and other publications Chautauqua and forum lecturer and reader of own poems. Lecturer for Massachusetts Department of Education in Americanization work, and for Boston and New York Public school centers. Associate with Knights of Columbus Committee on War Activities, Washington, District of Columbia, 1918-1919.
