  • Achievements include first to predict a new type of phase transition in random metal-dielectric media. First to propose sub-wavelength soliton in specially designed multilayer systems, magnetic plasmon transmission line. First to demonstrate bulk metamaterial with negative refraction index in the optical range.

    Research in imaging with super resolution utilizing composite materials. Research in composite filters with controlled spectral windows. Discovery of plasmon induced transparency and optical activity in metamaterials.
