Career
His regular playing position was winger or centre. Between 2004 and 2009, he played for Potchefstroom side the Leopards, making 44 appearances and scoring 19 tries. He eventually scored 19 tries in 44 appearances for the Leopards and 15 tries in 34 appearances for the Golden Lions, as well as four tries in 55 Super Rugby matches.
He also played in two matches during the 2009 British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa, one for a Highveld XV side in Potchefstroom and one for an Emerging Springboks side in Cape Town.
