Derek Moore

He was educated at Harrow School and Trinity College, Cambridge. An active Conservative, he was a councillor in Kensington, 1948-1956, Chairman of the South Kensington Conservative Association 1952-1954 and chairman of London Conservative Union, 1957-1958. In 1939, Moore-Brabazon married Henrietta Mary Clegg who died in 1985.
Their son, Ivon, succeeded his father in 1974.
