He played for the SWD U19 team in the 2007 Under-19 Provincial Championship competition and for the SWD U21 team in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Under-21 Provincial Championship competitions. SWD Eagles
In 2009, he made his first class debut for the SWD Eagles in their 26–21 defeat to the Griffons in at the North West Stadium, Welkom.
A further twelve matches followed in 2012.
