J. Deryck Fox is an English professional rugby league football player of the 1980s and "90s, and coach of the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s playing at representative level for Great Britain, England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers, Western Suburbs Magpies, Bradford Northern, Batley Bulldogs, and Rochdale Hornets, as a goal-kicking scrum-half/halfback, id est (that is) number 7, and coaching at club level for Rochdale Hornets, Shaw Cross Sharks ARLFC, Batemans Bay Tigers, and Dewsbury Celtic.

International honours County Cup final appearances Deryck Fox played scrum-half/halfback, was captain, and scored 3-conversions in Featherstone Rovers" 14-20 defeat by Bradford Northern in the 1989 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1989-1990 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Sunday 5 November 1989. Regal Trophy final appearances Deryck Fox played scrum-half/halfback in Bradford Northern"s 15-8 defeat by Wigan in the 1992-1993 Regal Trophy final during the 1992-1993 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Saturday 23 January 1993. Deryck Fox is the son of the Batley prop of the 1970s, John Fox.
