Editor The Rational Patriot, 1917-1918, Young Democracy, 1918-1921. Managing editor The World Tomorow, 1921-1925, editor, 1925-1931, 32-33. Special correspondent in Europe for American Newspapers and magazines, 1930-1931.

Associate editor The Nation, 1931-1932.

Founder, editor, director Worldover Press (formerly Nofrontier News Service), director European bureau, Brussels, Belgium, 1939-1940, Latin-American bureau, Havana, Cuba, 1942, Mexico City, 1942-1944. Lectured Harvard Summer School, Williamstown Institute Politics, American Academy Political and Social Sciences.
