Career
Griffiths joined British Broadcasting Corporation Wales from the Royal Air Force where he became a producer of television sports programmes, notably Rugby union broadcasts. After retirement he hosted the nostalgia record programme A String of Pearls on British Broadcasting Corporation Radio Wales.
