Achievements include development of accurate numerical schemes for simulation of non-linear dynamic events, finite element technologies applied to automobile crashworthiness, stochastic process applications to engineering mechanics, structural reliability and application to civil engineering structures, development of new methodologies for predicting fatigue crack growth in metals.
