Education & Furchtgott-Roth received her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Swarthmore College. After graduating, she went on to get her The Master of Philosophy in economics from Oxford University.
Furchtgott-Roth was an economist on the staff of President Ronald Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers in 1986-1987.
In 2001-2002, Furchtgott-Roth was the chief of staff of President George West. Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers. Furchtgott-Roth was an economist on the staff of President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers in 1986-1987.
