Career
Harmon was the professional at the River Oaks Country Club between 1977 and 2001. After leaving that position, he established two teaching centres in Houston, Texas. The School became a great success especially within the junior golfing community in and around the Houston area and later throughout Texas.
Harmon was said to be one of junior golf"s greatest ambassadors by many teaching professionals throughout the country.
