Career
Puyo started out in karting before stepping up to Spanish Formula Three in 2001. However, he failed to impress in his 8 races over two years and moved to the Italian Formula Renault Championship in 2003, scoring 6 points in 8 races. Puyo was absent from motorsport until 2007, when he raced in the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa, finishing tenth in the standings.
He moved to the new SEAT León Eurocup in 2008, finishing eighth in the championship.
