Efremov, Dimitar was born on December 26, 1960 in Skopje, Macedonia.

  • Achievements include first to established the first bone marrow transplantation program in Macedonia, 2000. First to introduced molecular diagnostics of hematological diseases in Macedonia. Research in biology, prognosis and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

    Research in of the hepatitis C virus in the development of certain B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders. Research in performed characterization of immunoglobulin E antibodies and their role in allergy. Research in characterized factors that Determine the severity of the disease in patients with beta-yhalassemia.
