Career
Dip Gogoi is a brother of Tarun Gogoi who is presently the chief minister of Assam. Dip Gogoi was educated at Dibrugarh University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Membership
He represents the Kaliabor constituency in Assam and is a member of the Indian National Congress. Gogoi has served one term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (Modern Language Association). Gogoi has since served three terms as a Member of Parliament (Member of Parliament) from the Lok Sabha.
Gogoi is a member of the Indian National Congress.
