He plays for Football Club Khimik Dzerzhinsk. He made his professional debut in the Russian National Football League for Football Club Volga Nizhny Novgorod on 19 July 2014 in a game against Football Club Anzhi Makhachkala. His father Vladimir Kurayev also was a football player.
