Graduate Permanent’ Theological College and Seminary. 1880 graduate Saint St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy.
1881-1882 zemstvo physician, Yekaterinburg former local government authority. 1882-1888 factor)' physician, Kishtym Mine Works, after which he moved to Saint St. Petersburg. Until 1909 physician, Neva Factory Hospital, then senior physician, Saint St. Petersburg Municipal Railroad and, for a while, health officer, Saint St. Petersburg Municipal Sanitary Commission.
Taught first courses ol occupational hygiene and first aid at various higher educational establishments in Saint St. Petersburg. From 1897 at Mining Institute. From 1902 at Technol Institute.
From 1904 at Polytech Institute. Advocated improvement of working and living conditions for labor and the establishment of a factor)' health inspection system free from employer influence. Also advocated the creation of a separate health inspection system for women factory workers.
Member, Pirogov and various other sci soc (natural sci, anthropological, ethnographical, geographical, etc). 1910 proposed to 11th Pirogov Congress that occupational hygiene be made a compulsory subject at all medical faculty. From 1910 founder-chairman, Labor Welfare Commission, Public Health Social.
Chairman, various other commissions, including the Commission for the Dissemination of Hygiene Knowledge, Public Health Social. Helped to organize several popular university and hygiene exhibitions. After 1917 October Revol worked for Labor Welfare Department, Petrograd Oblast Labor Department.
Wrote some 250 works.
