Helped compile first Russian manuals “Osnovy endokrinologii” (The Principles of Endocrinology) and “Klinicheskaya endokrinologiya” (Clinical Endocrinology). Also studied clinical laboratory methods of research, poisons and antitoxins, balneology and diabetes insipidus.
Did research on substitutes for scarce medical raw materials and use of wild and vitamin plants for needs of army and public. Promoted practical use of Chinese Magnolia Vine (Schizandra chinensis). Chairman.All-Russian Social of Endocrinologists.
