In 1991 he graduated from Leningrad State University of Theatre, Music and Cinema, where he studied at the actor's studio by B. B. Petrov. He worked in the theater "Time", was also a presenter on Radio Modern" (in pair with Sergey Rost). He was the moderator of the tv project "Okna". He was married to Alice Cher. Now he has a son and a civil wife. Has the Azerbaijanian origins (on behalf of his father).
