Dmitry Sillov is a Russian fantasy writer, instructor on close fight and bodybuilding, creator of the self-defense system “Real street fighting”. As a writer he works in the genre of fighting fantasy, he also wrote some books about close fight and survival.
Background
Dmitry is a grandson of a famous poet and critic Vladimir Sillov. He was born in the family of a military man. When he finished school, he served in assault forces. After his retirement, he got medical education, studied psychology, east philosophy and culture, practiced fights. He worked as the head of the security service of some famous persons for several years , and then he worked as a bodybuilding instructor.
Career
The career of Dmitry Sillov started with the brochure "Do you want to survive?", which was published in the publishing house "Armada" in 2000 and immediately occupied the seventh place in the ranking of sales of the trading house "Biblio-Globus". The system of self-defense "Real street fight" was mentioned in this brochure for the first time.
In June 2004, the publishing house "EKSMO" released a book by this author called "Real Street Fight - survival system on the street, in the army, in prison, in society." The circulation of the book in 5500 copies was sold less than for three months. In June 2005 in the same publishing house the book "Training of the Warrior" was published, which was entirely devoted to the comprehensive training of a fighter. In June 2007, the EKSMO published "the Encyclopedia of Real street fighting" by Dmitry Sillov.
He is the author of ten books about close fight and bodybuilding and many novels in which the main theme is heroism of an ordinary man, caught in difficult circumstances, martial arts and fighting spirit of the Russian people.
