He is currently playing for Ukrainian side Football Club Oleksandriya. Plakhtyr is a product of Football Club Metalurh Zaporizhya youth team system. His first trainer was Mykola Syenovalov.
He made his debjut for Metalurh Zaporizhya in the Ukrainian Premier League in match against Football Club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on 12 September 2015.
