Career
He briefly managed the Chicago Whales during the inaugural Federal League season. In 1907, while playing for the Cardinals he led all Catchers in assists and errors. After retiring from baseball he became a doctor and practiced medicine for 45 years in Clinton.
He attended college at Grove City College, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania.
