Early career
He went on to impress numerous local scouts, earning trials at Liverpool Football Club, Everton Football Club and Manchester United Football Club academies. He then had to choose between the three clubs on who to sign foreign During the 2013-2014 season McGiveron represented England Schoolboys, winning the Home Nations Centenary Shield.
During the match against Wales at Wrexham Football Club"s Race Course Ground, McGiveron almost scored with an audacious 45 yard volley, which clipped the top of the crossbar with the goalkeeper beaten.
Bootle Football Club
McGiveron signed for Bootle Football Club in the 2014/15 season. He started as a reserve player, but after impressing for them with goals and assists, he was given a call up to the first team
On his league debut for the club, he started as a substitute against Barnoldswick Town Football Club. He came on after 39 minutes due to an injury. The score was 0-1 to Barnoldswick at the time.
After the second half kicked off, McGiveron made it 1-1 with a 30-yard goal.

He then went on to sign for the Nike Academy after impressing at the Nike Most Wanted Event 2014 at Saint Georges Park. He battled against 42 other football players from around the world to earn a spot at the club
So far he has played a number of high calibre opposition, including Purdue Student Government U19"s, Hertha Berlin U19"s, Portland Timbers U23"s and a host of Premier League U21"s teams, and Championship.
Dominic scored the winning goal in the last few minutes, after connecting with a precise header from a cross which beat the goalie.
His most notable performances are against AS Monaco U19"s where he scored 2 goals in a 4-2 win. Another was a 2-1 away win at Brighton & Hove Albion"s U21"s team where he scored the winning goal. Dominic also played in the Nike Academy"s 2-1 win over Football Club Barcelona at Wembley Stadium on 21 November 2015.
