He is the Tjalling Koopmans Professor of Economics at the Cowles Foundation, Yale University. Born in Vancouver, he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1977 at the University of British Columbia, his Master of Arts His specialty is in econometrics and has published a large part of his work in the journal Econometrica. He is also affiliated with the Yale Department of Statistics.
