Donald Stanley Zinger, American electrical engineer, educator. Achievements include research on metal–oxide–semiconductor controlled thyristors in resonant circuits, fuzzy logic and neural network control of electric machines, field oriented control of electric machines, power quality and variable speed wind turbine control. National Aeronautics and Space Administration grantee, 1991.
