1927 graduated Tiflis Polytechn. Institute.
At Azerbaydzhan Central Agriculture and Selection Experimental Station, Gandzha, now Kirovabad. All-Union Selection and Genetics Institute, Odessa. 1944-1951 Head, Selection Department, Experimental Base, All-Union Lenin Academy, of Agriculture Science, Leninskie Gory, Moscow.
Worked on selection of ramified and other high-yield strains of winter and spring wheat. Developed new “П63” and ‘‘OD-013” wheat strains. Studied theory of stage development of plants and its use in selection and growing of field crops.
