Background

Donna Rose Bontatibus was born on February 14, 1968 in New Haven, Connecticut, United States.

Education

In 1990 Donna Rose received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albertus Magnus College. In 1992 she obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1995.

Career

In 1990 Donna Rose Bontatibus was an editorial intern at Business Digest of Greater New Haven. From 1993 to 1996 she was an adjunct member of English faculty at the University of New Haven. From 1993 to 1998 Bontatibus was an adjunct faculty member at Middlesex Community-Technical College. In 1994 she was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Rhode Island. From 1994 to 1998 she served as an instructor at Branford Hall Career Institute.

From 1997 to 1998 she was an adjunct member of English faculty at Southern Connecticut State University. In 1998 Bantatutus was appointed an instructor in English at Norwalk Community College. She is a speaker at colleges and universities, including Marist College, Clinch Valley College, and Temple University. Her publications include The Seduction Novel of the Early Nation (1999), "On the Front Lines: A Practical Guide for Instructors of Developmental English" (2010), "Poetry in Freshman Seminar: A Lesson in Critical and Creative Thinking" (2007), and "Forging Campus Links" (2005).

Achievements

• Donna Rose Bontatibus is best known as the author of The Seduction Novel of the Early Nation. Her books received good reviews. She is also a contributor of articles and reviews to periodicals, including Curious Room, Literary Sketches, and Papers on Language and Literature.
