Career
Faragher was born in Middle Swan, Western Australia in 1975. Before entering state politics, she was a staffer to federal senator Chris Ellison. Before the Coalition"s election to government in 2008, Faragher was the shadow spokesperson for youth, drug abuse and disability services.
Faragher was sworn in as Minister for Environment and Youth on 23 September 2008.
At that time, she was the youngest ever female minister appointed in Western Australia. On 14 December 2010, she was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier.
