Daughter of Donald Burnett and Helen Isabelle (Kiskadden) Blair. Divorced from Richard Bish in 1989; children: Donald William Bish, Stefani Lyn Bish. Stefani was killed in a car crash on July 27, 2002 at age age of 22. Donald has followed in his grandfather, Donald Blair's, footsteps. He has built a large sound/video company in Los Angeles, California, and is doing very well as of 2018. Donald is also known by his stage name, Dish. He is a well known percussionist and musician who has played with many successful bands over his 25 years in Los Angeles.
Donald was born August 1, 1905. At age 11 he took apart a Victrola and built his first crystal set, now know as a radio. He opened his first radio shop on 13th Street in Franklin, PA, in 1926, where he built, sold, and repaired radios. In 1951 he designed and built the first television cable company on the U.S. east coast. But his real love, besides his family, was nature, the outdoors, and fly fishing. He was a part-time deputy PA game Warden. From 1937 to 1956 he wrote articles for the Pennsylvania Angler magazine. He died on June 12, 1963.
Helen faithfully handled all paperwork for her husband's television, TV cable and radio business throughout her life. She was a loving wife and mother to her two daughters, Judith Ann Blair Fry and Donna Louise Blair Patterson. Born on May 24, 1910, she died on May 7, 1969.
