Achievements include invention of a variety of statistical mechanics-based models and computer simulation strategies for the prediction ofmaterial properties (mechanical, thermodynamic, interfacial, transport) from fundamental chemical constitution; research on amorphous polymers in the melt and glassy states and synthetic zeolite sorbents and catalysts.
