In that country he only played with Imortal District of Columbia, spending the 2005-2006 season in the third division. Subsequently the 20-year-old moved to Cyprus, signing with Digenis Akritas Morphou in the top level and suffering team relegation. In the following year Júnior continued playing in the country, with American Electric Power Paphos Football Club. On 10 June 2015, Dossa joined Konyaspor from Turkey.
In 2012, following an extended career in Cyprus, Dossa Júnior gained Cypriot nationality, being subsequently called up to play for the national team
In 2009 he signed a contract with AEL Limassol, scoring three goals in 28 games in the 2011-2012 campaign to help the latter win the national championship, after a 44-year wait. In 2013, he joined Polish giants Legia Warsaw in the Ekstraklasa during the 2013/2014 season in which he helped them procure their 10th league title and in the following season they won their 16th Polish Cup and came 2nd.
