Doug Rosenthal started serving as an associate concertmaster in February 2005 at The Cleveland Orchestra. He had the first solo debut with The Cleveland Orchestra in April 2007.

Before joining the Cleveland Orchestra, he was a member of the first violin section of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. There he served as a concertmaster for two seasons.
