Dori, Dov was born on September 2, 1953 in Haifa, Israel. Son of Elyahu and Tova (Zeidner) Meyersdorf.
In 1981 he received his Mississippi at the Tel Aviv University, Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, and in 1988 his Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research from the Weizmann Institute of Science under supervision of Amir Pnueli and Shimon Ullman.
