Hill, Draper was born on July 1, 1935 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Son of L. Draper and Jean Hutchins (Thompson) Hill.


Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude, Harvard C., 1957;postgrad, Slade School Fine Arts, University College, London, England., 1960-1963.
