From research assistant to research associate system engineering department Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, 1984—1987.

Research associate department system engineering University Virginia, Charlottesville, 1987, from assistant professor to associate professor department system engineering, 1988—1996, associate director Center for Risk Management Engineering Systems, 1992-1995, senior consultant Center for Risk Management Engineering Systems, since 1995.
