Career
Served in Bulgaria, 1854. With the 95th Regiment in Crimea, present at battles of Alma and Iukerman, at the affair of 26th October, and at the siege of Sevastopol(dangerously wounded in the trenches before Sevastopol. Medal with 3 clasps and Turkish war medal).
Served Indian Mutiny, 1857-58. Present at capture of the fortress of Awali, Rajpootanah, siege and capture of Kotah, battle of Kotah-Ke-Serai, siege and capture of city and fortress of Gwalior, Capture of Chindaree, and other minor affairs, Central India (medal with clasp). Served on the staff in Jersey.
Was Assistant AdjutantGeneral, West Indies, and Assistant Quartermaster-General, Dublin district. Reward for distinguished and meritorious services, 1903.
