Career
Ebbe Carsten Hornemann was candidate.jur. of education, but did not work as a civil servant. Ebbe Carsten Hornemann was himself elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1830, representing the constituency of Holmestrand. He sat through only one term.
Ebbe Carsten Hornemann lived in Holmestrand until 1834, when he moved to Trondhjem.
In 1851 he bought a farm in Rissen, but he died later that year.
Membership
Their oldest son Henrik Hornemann would become a member of parliament.
