Career
After playing professionally, Mast coached high school basketball at Louis East. Dieruff High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania from 1983-1985. Mast also held sales positions in Easton and Nazareth. Mast, who was the son of Jane Mast of Philadelphia, died at the age of 46, due to a heart attack while playing an informal (pick-up) game of basketball at the Kirby Field House on the campus of Lafayette College.
