In the service of the London County Council and their predecessors since 1878. Fellow of the Surveyors’ Institution; Fellowr of the Royal Statistical Society; Honourable Fellow of the Auctioneers’ Institute; formerly Assistant Valuer and (since 1900) Statistical Officer to the London County Council; head of its Local Government and Statistical Department.
