Career
Nicknamed Kiko, Henríquez started his career at third division outfit Adler, then moved up a division with Salvadoreño de Armenia and made his debut in the Salvadoran Premier League with UES in 1985. He retired from playing in 1997. His final international game was a May 1994 Miami Cup match against Colombia.
After he retired, he became a manager, and worked in that capacity with UES in the Salvadoran second Division after being replaced by Brazilian manager Eraldo Correia in March 2011.
In June 2011, Henríquez became in charge of the Alianza Reserves after moving in from second division side Topiltzín. He coached various sides in the Primera division including UES, Firpo and Santa Tecla F.C. with varying degree of success.
On May 11 2015, Henriquez was hired to become the head coach of the El Salvador (Under 17) and Under 15 national football team
