Edith Forbes was born on October 28, 1954 in Wyoming, United States.
Edith received Bachelor of Arts in English at Stanford University. Then she earned Master of Arts in English at Stanford University in 1978.
Edith's education launched her on a career in computer programming in TSC Inc. When she found herself trying to write poetry in Pascal, she abandoned computers in favor of less reliably logical pursuits, including farming, house renovation, and writing. Her primary interest is fiction, but she also has tried her hand at essays, poetry, screenplays, and a cookbook. Her four novels were published by Seal Press in Seattle.
